How send notifications to the original workflow submitter

Tip of the Day: In Microsoft D365 Finance and Supply Chain (D365 F&SC), when working with workflows, have you ever been asked, "how will I know when the PO is approved" or "can the workflow email me when the journal is approved so I can post it"? To setup the workflow to email and/or notify the workflow submitter when the record is approved, follow the guide below.

To advance your consulting skills, let me share my Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&SC expertise with you by signing for my post notifications at www.intraclouddynamics.com or www.aliciakeener.com or subscribe to my YouTube Channel @aliciakeener6544 MVP Contributor > wt.mc _id=MVP_346423

If the original workflow submitter would like to be notified when the workflow is approved, on the last node in the workflow, under Notifications, place a checkmark on Enable Event = Completed > under the Workflow user tab, set Workflow user = Workflow originator. When this workflow node is approved, then, the person that submitted the workflow will be notified via email if their email is enabled and/or via notifications in D365.
